Dauntless Fire Company has been awarded a grant through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies.  This award will go toward a new and upgraded multi-gas meter. Our meters are a valuable piece of life safety equipment that we rely on for a variety of calls from CO meter activations to structure fires.  The new meter will replace a worn out and malfunctioning meter that is past its service life.  It will also add the ability to perform remote monitoring, to eliminate the need to send a fire fighter into a potentially hazardous situation.
