The Dauntless Fire Company would like to thank the Ebensburg VFW Post 4963 for their recent donation.  Their generous donation was made towards our continuing project to upgrade our hydraulic rescue tools, also known as The Jaws of Life, with the latest technology.  Our current set of tools has helped to save hundreds of lives through the years.  However as a progressive fire company we are always looking for ways to increase our efficiency.   The next generation of rescue tools, eDraulics, are battery powered.  They offer the same power and lifesaving ability, but without the need for hoses and separate power units.  This makes them more portable, easier to deploy, and more efficient to operate.  If you would like to find out more about this project or how you can donate, please contact one of our officers today.
