The American Legion Post 363 of Ebensburg, PA has made a generous donation to the fire department.  This donation will go towards the ongoing technology upgrade project.  Some of this money will be allocated toward the purchase of a new server while the rest of it is going toward the purchase and installation of the Emergency Call Manager system from ECM2.  This software provides bi-directional communication between the fire officers and firefighters during an incident via text messaging or through a mobile app.  Responding officers can know instantly what resources they have responding to a call in order to make an informed decision regarding fire ground tactics.  The mobile app also provides mapping and incident information directly from the 911 system.
