Dauntless recently added a new 2013 Dodge Ram 5500 to our fleet to improve our response to the changing needs of the community. The chassis was supplied by McCall Motors here in Ebensburg and the rear body was manufactured by Rosenbauer.  Kaza Equipment, also of Ebensburg coordinated the assembly of the unit and helped with the design.  Andy and his team at Kaza’s are a real asset to our Department, helping with our design and service needs.  The unit is equipped with a skid mounted ultra high pressure pump that is capable of adding class A foam.  The truck also is equipped with 2 portable generators with lights, has body mounted scene lighting, SCBA with extra cylinders.  The unit will be used as a light rescue to support EMS, traffic control, and light firefighting needs.
