The 2014 fireman’s convention season is over and it was a very successful year for the Dauntless Fire Company.  This year we participated in 3 conventions: Cambria County Volunteer Fireman’s Association, Central District Volunteer Firemen’s Association,  and Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association.  A hearty congratulations goes out to all those members who participated.  Once again Team Dauntless was well represented in the events and competitions.  The fire company brought home the following awards:

Cambria County Convention in Cresson, PA

• Fallen Firefighters of the Volunteer Firemen’s Association Cambria County & Vicinity
  • Roving trophy presented annually to the best overall appearing fire company at the convention parade.
• 1st Place – Best in Line of March
• 1st Place – Best Aerial
• 1st Place – Non-motorized
• 2nd Place – Best Tanker
• 3rd Place – Sink the Bucket

Central District Convention in East Freedom Township, PA

• 1st Place – Best Appearing Marching Unit
• 2nd Place – Best Aerial Apparatus

Western PA Convention in Hastings, PA

• Past Presidents Memorial Award
  • Roving trophy presented annually to the best overall appearing fire company at the convention parade.
