We are pleased to announce that the Dauntless Fire Company has been awarded a grant through the M&T Bank Charitable Foundation. This award will help the company with the continuing project to upgrade our existing incident command system. It will be used to purchase new computer or mobile hardware as well as associated incident command software.

The new system being put in place will utilize iPads in the apparatus to consolidate years’ worth of pre-plans, maps, hazardous material guides, and other hard copy items. The iPads will provide quick access and easy cross referencing of this information without the need to flip through multiple books and binders.
